The Town of Mohács (Hungary) has organised the opening conference of the BICBC project on 25 September 2013. The project is financed under the Hungary-Croatia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme with the involvement of Croatian partners such as the Towns of Beli Manastir, Belišće, Osijek-Baranja County and the Croatian Waters. On this conference decision makers of the project partners talked about their cycle infrastructure development plans. The BICB project -- inter alia -- forsees the construction of a segregated bicycle route along the busy traffic main road no. 56 between the Sátorhely and Kölked link roads. This critical section is currently part of the Danube Route (Eurovelo 6) and hopefully will be part of the Iron Curtain Trail (Eurovelo 13) as well. As final contribution Zoltan Pamer from the South Transdanubian Regional Development Agency presented the Iron Curtain Trail project, with special attention to the sections in East of Baranya.
