During the event, participants and audience had the opportunity to be informed on South East Programme “Sustainable mobility along the newest EuroVelo route: The Iron Curtain Trail” project that on national level is being implemented by “ANTIGONE-Information and Documentation Center on Racism, Ecology, Peace and Non-Violence”. Mr Giorgos Farfaras, representative of the Ecological Movement of Thessaloniki, provided information on the “Iron Curtain Trail” project activities that are taking place in the prefectures of Central and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. “Iron Curtain Trail” project involves the connection of South East Europe regions with a long distance cycling route for the development and the promotion of EuroVelo 13 route through a wide European collaboration.
